LA Production of On The Town

I know that there is a link posted on the LA Regional Section regarding this show, but for those who don't visit that regional site and live in SoCal . . .

Go see it. It was great. I had a wonderful time.

Pretty simple staging, but a lot of fun and a great cast. It is part of the UCLA Reprise season this year.

I can second the recommendation. The show is a delight - much different than the MGM version which cuts a lot of the best songs ("I CAN COOK TOO" - was it too risque for the production code?) and ballet and tailors the Gabey character for Gene Kelly's personality.

There is a rave in today's Variety.
