LB Saturday Rush/August Sunday Rush

For those of you who have rushed Legally Blonde and August: Osage County on a weekend recently. What time do you suggest I line up for LB tomorrow (Sat) and August on Sunday?

Well. we got to LB around 8 am and there was already a substantial line with some girls in sleeping bags.. which is just.. well ridiculous.. but c'est la vie.

I'd say get there early and bring headphones to drown out the fan girl craziness.

I would get there at 7 for Legally Blonde on a Saturday, 8 if you don't care which show your getting tickets for the day. For August, they have less then 10 student tickets per show, depending on the show, so since I wouldn't want to miss this, you need to be the first person at the box office so I would get there no later then 7 and they open at 12. I know that's long but it's worth it.

I think the one time I did student rush for Legally Blonde it was the one time it wasn't crazy. I think that I lucked out on that regard. I got there at 8 hung out till ten and got a ticket.

I would think that now that they reserved it for college students only that the crazies would have gone away. But, I guess not.

As for August:Osage County. I don't think you would need to get there at 7 for the rush. I would say no more then two hours prior to when the box office opens. I think the August Osage County rush is one per ID so you wouldn't need to get there that early.

Fyi, no longer true- no idea when it happened, but the student rush signage and policy at Blonde have been changed again- high school and university ids both accepted now. Again.

That doesn't really surprise me. If I recall the people at the box office thought that all the craziness was coming from high school students. Yet, they were taken aback to find out that despite the fact that they changed the ID policy. The craziness was still going on.

I think that all of the things that were going on came from immature college students and not high school students. Things like camping out for Haven's performance as Elle etc.
