I've opened it - it goes through the beginning stuff - now how do I start the game?

Keep pressing D. You can change the keyboard buttons, though, through the menu bar.

I'd like to try it, but I can't get it to open. I am able to extract the game into an ArmJoe directory, and then I click on LesMiserables. A small window opens and then closes itself. That's it. Any ideas?
