I'M SO FRIGGIN EXCITED!
Those pictures just gave me a Caroleegasm. God she's gorgeous.
I am so freaking excited about LESTAT!!! This is such an amazing cast, and honestly....They are all SO gorgeous! I am thrilled that Linda Woolverton has penned the book, and I really think that Elton may be able to give this story the sound that it deserves! This is so F****** awesome....YAY!
Later!

And that Jack Noseworthy....Sex On A Stick! YUUUUUUMMM!
Wow! I am so excited for Allison Fischer. She has done a few shows with a friend of mine and she is such a sweet girl. Amazingly talented as well. That and Carolee and Jack Noseworthy (oh my gawd!!!!)... now I really can't wait to see this show.
Love Carolee and Hugh but how excited am I that Jack Noseworthy is going to be back on broadway! Now I can't wait! Jack is so extremely talented. In fact we should start a thread for Jack Lovers sometime soon!
So when do rehersals begin?? I'm a little sad Hugh is leaving Phantom but I'm glad for him.

I'm so excited for "Lestat"! The cast looks amazing! I'm very proud of Hugh for getting to originate another role. Best wishes to everyone involved in "Lestat"! :)

Can't wait to see it.
Somewhat off-topic, but did Hugh leave Phantom already? If not, does anyone know when he will?
Dang, Hughie's a hottie. Must be the name. And Carolee is so...Miss Pennywise! Woohoo! What a talented cast. And man, if anyone is worthy of a nose, it is most certainly that Jack dude. "LESTAT" ROCKIN' 2006! In 'da house.
I'm happy to see that Carolee will be originating a role again, thus being eligible for Tony consideration.

Isn't Gabrielle suppose to be blonde?
Eh, I know publicity photo and not actual production, I'm just being nitpicky, Carolee Carmello does though have that haughty, aristocratic look to her that Gabrielle has.
I do hope Carolee Carmello and Hugh Panarowear blonde wigs though!
I'm looking forward to hearing the music from this, even if I won't be able to see it.
Btw, your avatar is awethum, Urban.
Hugh will be leaving Phantom in October...the 1st is the current date.

Here's an example of just how lame news about Broadway shows are in regional cities like SF:
Today...radio announcement about LeStat coming to SF:
1st DJ:
"Wow, Elton John has written a musical for Broadway and we get to see it first here in SF."
2nd DJ:
"Isn't that from those Anne Rice novels?"
1st DJ:
"Yeah, but apparenlty Elton John decided to write a story just about Lestat, and I think he did something with the music for the show as well."
2nd DJ:
"I didn't know Elton wrote for Broadway"
1st DJ:
"Well, it says here he wrote Aida for Disney a while back."
2nd DJ:
"That guy from Phantom will be in it. Carmello? Isn't that a candy bar?"
Dj's, together:
"HAHAHA"
grrrr.
I'm happy for Hugh. If anything, he gets to take a break from his frightening (East Coast) phangirls. If you doubt my use of the word "frightening," go see their icons over at http://www.phantomfans.net.

HA HA!!! Oh well...we can't all be like Broadway in NYC. But SF and LA have a decent theatre base. I was surprised that the LA Times covered the announcement though. I guess there's still hope! :)

LOL...at first I was excited, thinking...finally, someone is going to talk about it here in SF.
And then they started talking....
I love our SF theater scene and feel privilaged to get to see so many new shows here before they end up getting trampled on in New York!
