What I think went wrong:
1) Wasn't the right time to "revive" this on Broadway for the first time. Still too recent.
2) The firing of all of the cast (besides Hunter) after it's Florida tryout pre-destined it's receiving bad reviews.
3) There isn't a SOUL alive that could step into the role of Audrey and be well received after Ms. Green.
4) It was too "squeeky clean" in terms of production values...not enough grit.
5) Joey Fatone.
