I am currently using TicketKing to get tickets for LOTR. So far, the best seats I could find for the date I want to attend is in Row AA, Seats 18-15. Here's a link to a seating chart: http://www.mirvish.com/SeatingCharts/pdf/POW/lotr_orch_Feb10.pdf
For those of you who have been to the Princess of Wales Theatre, are these seats too close for this kind of show? Will I miss any of the action if I am this close? Thanks!
EDIT: I had to buy tickets for Row BB, Seats 18-15. Are those any better?

Yes... row AA will be tooo close. The whole stage is a revolve that juts out over the orchestra pit and when it rises you probably won't see anything. (and it rises a lot!)
My seats were row K and they were excellent. Distance is very necessary for this show.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
