Hey all--
Coming to the city for a day on Sunday, from Boston. I'd love to see a show with a friend. Ideally, we'd love to get to see N2N, but I'm still unclear as to how that lotto works out. Can someone explain it in human language?
Also, are there lotto/student rush availabilities for shows like Our Town and Billy Elliot? And are there any off-off broadway shows that are really worth seeing? Bummed to have missed Sarah Ruhl's Passion Play!

Lotto for N2N works like all other lottos.
Start putting names in 2 hours before the performance. Then 90 minutes before the performance they draw names of the the (i believe) 26 seats. 1 or 2 tickets. cash or credit, Photo ID required and checked.

There is a rush for Billy Elliott, i don't know if its students only, but its liek 36 bucks and I think they sell them when the box office opens.
The Rush Board over at Allthatchat has details for all broadway and off-broadway shows.

Billy Elliot does not have student rush on the weekends. They do have $40 seats you can buy in advance, but those seem to sell out pretty far ahead.
