libretto/script: i own both published versions. they are both oop, so you cant bu them in a bookstore, but ou can hunt around local usedbookstores or chek ebay, and the used/oop sections of bn.com & amazon.com. one is the original actors edition (soft) pub. by samuel french (they no longer own the rights) and one is a bookclub edition (hard, 1st) pub. by nelson/doubleday.
sheet music: sheet music that follows the movie version and some of the show is available from all major sheet music vendors, on and offline. i believe there might be a published version of the complete score, but it is hard to track down is is rather pricey.

to do it legally, you would have to buy the rights of production from MUSIC THEATRE INTERNATIONAL (mtishows.com). sometimes they charge groups who charge admission. you apply to do one of their shows and a rep takes care of you (sends you libs, orchestrations, etc.)
otherwise, find the original published libs on used book sites.

Posted: 12/7/04 at 8:12amYou could always go to the NY Public Library (Arts branch at Lincoln Center). I believe the Libretto is in the Reserved area (can't check it out) and the vocal selections are on the shelf and behind the reserve counter. They have multiple copy machines in this library (though they are expensive compared to Kinkos). You might be able to order a purusal libretto from MTI. You have to send in a deposit and pay for postage. Good luck.
