#0LSoH Finale Staging Question (what does it look like)

I never got the chance to see LSoH on Broadway before it closed and unfortunately won't be able to see the tour until March when it somes to Philly (which unfortunately too means no Anthony, but oh well...though it does mean it should be Jim Poulos, also an ex-Mark Cohen heh...).
I've been listening to the cd a ton recently from the New Bway Cast (I'd known of the musical and seen the subsequent movie but never fully *knew* the musical and recently started listening), loving it (and dreaming there's some chance I'd get to see the tour before 12/12, though I won't), and I'm really curious to all the staging--most of which my mind can pretty well imagine-- EXCEPT the finale.
Can someone tell me what the staging looks like in '"Finale Ultimo (Don't Feed the Plants)" ? (I presume it looks the same as in the tour, currently in, I believe, Seattle, so if you've seen the tour or etc...)
Do pods open with the faces of Seymour, Audrey, etc? I saw one photo online from some random production that seemed as if that was their case, but there was no caption and I really want to know about the Bway or Bway Tour productions, not a random highschool production, etc.
Thanks in advance!
~Stacey
(I also apologize if someone has asked something similar before in some other thread, but I kinda doubt that so I'm just posting my own thread asking the question...)

Posted: 11/14/04 at 1:15amDuring the final Ultimo, seymore, audrey, orin, and mushnik appear in big pods (the actors are basically in a green costume made to look like leaves). Audrey II is noticibly larger (she takes up most of the stage by now) and during the last few moments of the song, audrey II goes out into the audience. hopefully that helps.

Thanks to both of you-- that description is essentially what I was asking for (as far as the actors appearing as part of the Audrey II). Confirmed suspicions and broadenened them. I have a nice little mental image now :)
And thanks for looking for the pic from NYTimes-- it's greatly appreciated + I look forward to seeing the pic if you find it :)

Posted: 11/14/04 at 10:40amIt was very very well done. You can see the cast members faces, but the rest of them is..."leaves," I guess. The plant is huge and it does come out into the audience...as Kerry Butler put it, it's like "A rollercoaster for the front row."

Posted: 11/15/04 at 11:37amSaw the tour last night here in SF. Anthony Rapp was an amazing Seymour. The plant was amazing, the finale looked great with it towering over the first two rows and the four principals in the pods. The music as good as I remember it being. But the overall show seemed to be lacking something. To be honest, I can see why it didn't last too long on Broadway. It started ominously, when right before curtain, they announced the role of Ronette and Chiffon would be played by the sme actress. 2 of the girls were out and there is only one understudy for all 3. They did the entire show with just two girls. It seemed a little off. ALthough they were both amazing performers, something was just missing. Again, while I was impressed with ANthony Rapp, and the individual performances, the show as a whole did not give me the feeliong I usually get from a good show. Oh well, can't love all of 'em I guess!
