Hey everyone,
I'm going to see the tour cast of LSoH in Costa Mesa tommorow and I'm going to be going to the matinee performance and was wondering if anyone knows if the cast comes out to the stagedoor between shows or not. I'm just wondering if it'd be worth it to do the waiting at the stagedoor thing or not. So any info on that would be great. Thanks!

For tours, the cast will usually come out...since the dressing rooms are not their "homes" like on Broadway. They have to eat and stuff. If the cast does come out, LSOH has one of the nicest.
Thanks for the info.
I think I might try my luck, or ask an usher at the theatre or something. I'd really love to be able to meet the tour cast.

I would try. You will most-likely catch someone. Most ushers know nothing about that kind of stuff, so I wouldn't even both asking one.
Thanks.
Just out of curiousity, do all the cast have a pretty good attendance record? I know there was that brief bought of illness among the cast, but aside from that, we have a good chance of catching the whole cast right? I'm really hoping to be able to see the main cast without understudies (no offense to them) tommorow.

Sorry...not too sure where the stage door is. I saw LSOH in Costa Mesa Friday night! I loved it! I was rather shocked to see that the hous was SO empty though. Pretty sad.

I am seeing it tomorrow also, but I am seeing the night show. I am really excited, I know the OCPAC like the back of my hand. Ya the house never fully sells out because it is so big, it is kind of sad. Have fun at the stage door.

Thanks for the advice. Yes I'm really excited also. And just realized that tommorow is the tour's closing night so hopefully it'll sell more tickets for that day. Anyways, for those who know the venue, I managed to snag first row seats but they're slightly to the side (seats 22-26 row CC) and we have the option to switch to third row, seat 14 (and a few others to one side I guess). Do you have any info as to which would provide with better view? I got the first row ones because my friend who is going with me is deaf and this way she could see the actions up close and read their lips during the show etc but now that I know its to the side I'm worried about an obstructed view. Any info would be great from those who have been in the theatre before. Thanks!
they all came out in philly, although the mushnik standby was the only one to refuse to sign my poster. and they are so damn nice the whole lot of them
They all came out when I went to see it in Appleton...
Actually, the actors who played Seymour n' Audrey were the only ones that came out right away **b/c they were giving away brats inside** and then they saw that we wanted autographs, so they said "hang on a second" and suddenly the entire cast came out to sign autographs, all the puppetiers and everything. It was pretty cool! Very nice cast. Good luck!
Hmmm, if the tour is closing tomorrow night, I could see some understudies going on for the matinee.
Jim Poulos, who played Mark in Rent on Broadway for over a year, is the understudy for Seymour so that would be kind of interesting.
Maybe I'll drive down tomorrow for the mat and see if I can get rush seats.

Yeah I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if Jim Poulos went on tommorow afternoon. The only two I'd be disappointed at not being able to see would be Tari Kelly and Micheal James Leslie. While I'm sure they have amazing understudies, I'm a huge fan of both and am very much anticipating finally getting to see them both live tommorow so I'm really hoping that they are in the matinee performance. And it sounds like a very nice cast, so I think we'll definitly try our luck at the stagedoor tommorow. I'm just hoping that, if we can't get a chance to switch tickets, the view won't be too obstructed.
