Hey kids...quick question. This Sunday is LaChanze's last day...how sad. Anyway, "The Color Purple" does two shows on Sundays, usually LaChanze only does the matinee. Any word on if she'll do both, or one over the other? Any information would be great, thanks!

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.

Posted: 11/2/06 at 10:54pmI just read on the Broadway.com blog that Kenita Miller (LaChanze's standby) is leaving Sunday also. Perhaps they are putting her on for the evening performance as her last performance?
