In a 90 Minute version starring Diana Ross in the title role.
Honestly, what's next?
Harvey Fierstein as Dante?
Will the other two Supremes make up the "Greek Chorus"?
*sound of sky falling-flashes of red lightning fills the heavens*

I read it was an 80-minute version. And like a THRILL RIDE.
Yes they will. LaChiusa is also re-doing "Baby Love" for the big finale.

BrilliantBobbyBubby.
I heard that Ms. Ross wants to do MARIE CHRISTINE and CAROLINE, OR CHANGE in rep...
She also wants to do ANNIE and change the lead to a shy schoolteacher.
Maybe she'll do SISTER ACT: THE MUSICAL

It's a Vegas union/schedule thing. They do about 18 shows a week.
I remember seeing A Chorus Line in Vegas. There were only four characters, Zach, Cassie, Paul, Val and Morales. It was really good. You didn't need all that extraneous crap.
It's an unspoken (sometimes vocal) rule that shows should not exceed 90 minutes. Casinos rely on their customers to gamble and drink and do not want to monopolize all of there time in a show. Hence forth 90-minute shows, no intermission (except MAMMA MIA!). 90-minutes is typically the longest that it can go.
Rosie O'Donnell talked about opening for a headlining comedian once and how they billed her because she went over 3 or 4 minutes.
*sigh* Vegas was so much cooler when the mob ran it.
Jen Bernhardt told me Avenue Q is the only show that isn't cut down. They are actually doing the full show!
Now I have heard everything
