Final changes to the script are in place before tomorrow's dress, and Sunday's performance.
It has changed so much from inception to now, and the audience will now be our true test of what works, and what doesn't. This is always my favorite part of any collaboration: when we get to see how what we've wrought works in front of the audience.
And through it all, Lane is a true professional, a true champ, and truly enchanting!

What a wonderful evening!
Lane Bradbury is beautiful and her stories were charming, entertaining, touching and funny.
Congratulations to D2 for conceiving of and creating this really special show.
I'm looking forward to see it again... as I just know it's a show that has a wonderful future.
ps - the outfit Lane Bradbury wore was wonderful. Beautiful work, Diva!
pps - sitting next to Anna Strasberg, and talking with her before and after the show was a special treat. She was moved to tears at one point. Well done, D2! Well done.

It was indeed a lovely evening. And her gown was gorgeous!
I wish there had been a few more Merman stories, but the ones about Jerry Robbins were amazing (and made him out to be a total monster).
When she was singing "If Mama Was Married" and "Let Me Entertain You," I could definitely hear hints of her original voice from the 1959 recording! How wonderful that she is still going strong!
