I am off to Vegas in a couple of weeks, I plan to see Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular, I also plan to see a couple of Cirque Soleil shows.
What are good Soleil shows to go and see?
Does anyone know any good discount websites? Does Las Vegas have a discount booth?
We were just discussing tons of Vegas info in the last couple of weeks on the OT board. And I know you were involved in the Vegas Cirque thread on the UK board.
Things to Do in Las Vegas
I believe this mentions a couple of websites and the Vegas discount ticket booth.

O is spectacular. Simply one of the best shows I've ever seen, anywhere. LOVE is pretty cool too. Of course, those are the most popular and least discounted shows, so if you can't pay for both, I would recommend Cirque's Ka, which has a plot and is their most elaborate production but has never really found a big audience on par with its brethren. If none of those are right for you, then honestly, I would recommend you use the dough to buy a lavish meal at someplace like Joel Robuchon, which is a show in and of itself.
I was just there (again!) last month.
I can never recommend Spago at Caesars Palace highly enough.
I saw Love last year and thought it was very good. I've seen all the Cirque touring shows, but that was the first permanent one I'd seen.
Definitely see Love. You'd have to like The Beatles to enjoy the show, but it really is one of the best shows in Vegas.
I saw and Loved "Love" last year. BroadwayBox has the occasional discount code for Cirque shows and you can sign up for CirqueClub and get discounts directly from them.

Love was great. Plan to see Elvis when we go back to the Palazzo in August.
'Viva Elvis' is the closest that Cirque du Solei comes to a proper, proscenium arch theatre show with some of the best show-dancing you are likely to witness (not unlike a Twyla Tharp show in many ways). The focus is not so much on acrobatics, for a change, but the show does feature some truly amazing effects (the back-projection in the wedding dress is amazing!).
If you only have the opportunity to see one Cirque show though, I would say go to 'O' - I've seen it three times and I still don't believe it ('Love' is also great but probably means more to true Beatles fans).

If you're a student , Phantom has a $35 student rush for Mezz seats, day of. You can get up to two tickets I believe. When I was there, it wasn't very full so right when the show was about to start, I decided to move to the orch level to be closer. A really nice usher saw me come down and offered to sit me in an unsold seat right under the chandelier! Some of the effects are truly breathtaking!
Nope, unfortunately I am not a student, but I am staying in the Venetian for a couple of night, is it true they give there patrons free tickets to see Phantom?
You might get free tickets if they offered you a promotion when you booked the room. Otherwise, you can ask about discounts when you check in, but they do not give all their guests free show tickets just for staying at the hotel.

I've never been a Beatles fan, but I thought Love was fantastic.
And honestly, if you're thinking about O, then I suggest L Reve. It took the idea of O and pushed it further into a more entertaining and cohesive show. O is ok, and was incredible when it first opened, but the show has a tendency to lag, especially when the clowns are on. Le Reve used the director of O, La Nouba, Alegria, Mystere and Quidam, so it's not like a major departure from Cirque. Same style and format as O, but better use of space, staging and technology. O has the edge on creativity in costumes and makeup, but that's about it.

If you're a member of Club Grazie (which is free to join), two tickets often do come with the room, but no, it's not automatically included.

I did post on the West End board, but wanted more information and a american perspective.
On a similar thread a while ago some said "free tickets are given to patrons and casino users of the venetian sometimes", so wanted to verify this.
Loving the information you are giving me keep it coming will perint this off and take to Vegas with me, also printed the link Matt put up.
