Last 5 Years on Film

As per the playbill.com article, if Brown's Last 5 Years does hit the big screen, does anyone else think that Kate Hudson would be a remarkable Cathy.

It would be a great way for her to get back to the quality of work she established for herself with Almost Famous.


Going with the fact that it's a two person musical, (yes i know other characters would probably be added) it seems that to get hollywood support both Jaimie and Cathy would have to be played by names.

And as for Jaimie, even though I am neither for or against him, Matt Morrison comes to mind with his recent rise in popularity due to GLEE. He could pull of Jewish....maybe.


But then again they could always go with Emmy Rosum and Gerard Buttler
