Last 5 Years, the movie?

Did someone say there was a movie being made?

Ok, I know about, POTO, Rent, Producers, and Hairspray...

What other musical movies are being made, and can anyone give me some info links?

I once suggested an [independent] film version, but as far as I know, one isn't in the works. It played Off-Broadway and doesn't have the campiness of "Little Shop of Horrors" necessary to be an upcoming movie musical without having been a major Broadway hit. I do think that Jason Robert Brown should write a musical directly for the screen...

I actually had a friend who wrote a movie script for L5Y and sent it to JRB...it was awesome (I revised it.) It got sent back, unread. I think L5Y would make a fantastic movie.

It would be really hard to fit the timeline in there going back and forth.
