Ok, I know this has been posted before, but I searched and couldn't find anything, so I apologize in advance.

How do I find out when actors contracts are up for current shows? I want to take my mom to see the original cast of Steel Magnolias. How do I find out how much time I have?

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

Well, they're probably only selling tickets through September or something right now anyway.

Most OBC's are signed for atleast a year...but I'm not so sure SM will last a whole year.

Is it that bad? I heard it was fluff, but my mom is a big fan of the fluff. She loves, loves, loves Mamma Mia.

It's not about good or bad, it's about box office. Lots of great shows have short runs and lots of bad shows run for years. Steel Magnolias' rather weak box office numbers thus far indicate that it probably won't be around long enough to necessitate cast replacements.

Musical contracts are usually for 9 months, plays, I think 6 (these are minimums)...

It is only a five person play and it is not like there is a HUGE set so I am sure they could run for a little while on low attendance
