Ashley's doing something this weekend according to her Twitter.... so I guess we'll have to wait for the official Disney Theatricals press release.

Ashley is doing a concert with the Indianapolis Symphony Feb 11-13. That is what she is doing this weekend.

The tweet by Laura Michelle about leaving has been removed.It said something to the effect of "Having diner with my stage manager...can't believe i'm leaving them for 4 months. I will miss this company and crew..." or something like that.

Are we confident that Ashley is returning? If she is not, then my vote goes to Caroline Sheen to take over for Laura.

I loved Ashley's performance as Mary when I saw her on tour back in September 2009. She's also probably my favorite Belle of all-time. Her "A Change in Me" at the Disney concert in London back in 2008 gives me goosebumps.

Kind of off-topic, but Ashley was fantastic in Indianapolis. I didn't even know she was going to be there until 3 days before, but I am very glad I was able to catch her. She is really talented, it was great hearing her sing non-Mary Poppins songs (although she did do a little bit of that, of course) Also, Ben Crawford was there too, and did a rendition of "This is the Moment" from Jekyll and Hyde that earned one of the biggest ovations of the night.

Question: will I regret not seeing Ms. Kelly before she leaves?

I'm thinking about snagging a ticket. I haven't seen the shower post "Temper, Temper" and I've been curious about seeing Laura Michelle Kelly live. For those of you who have seen her, is it worth getting a ticket or should I just wait for a later date?

Haha alright. I was pretty sure I wanted to see her, so I was just looking for a little reassurance. Just got a premium ticket for $87 ...can't argue with that!

You won't regret your purchase. It was such a treat to see the actress who originated the role from the West End.
Plus, the show is quite different since they've changed things.

Laura Michelle Kelly's last day is sometime in the month of September/October, but Gavin Lee's contract is continuing for quite some time. -from PSM at Mary Poppins

And Miss Leigh is wonderful in the role of Mary! she brings this mysterious charm to the character and her voice is beautiful very similar to miss strallen but has a fresh take.
