Posted: 12/29/09 at 3:31pmI believe that she couldn't do a full year because she is doing a TV show in England. Poppins on Broadway was supposed to fill the gap between her doing the TV show and whatever project she was working on prior to doing Broadway.

Posted: 1/7/10 at 1:38amWell I just saw her tonight (1/6) and she was beyond fantastic, perhaps just like the real mary poppins she will stay "as long as necessary." It seems that Disney is putting quite a bit of money into advertising her being here is she is going to leave so soon but I too have heard that she has other gigs lined up so who knows. If she is really leaving this month though certainly someone knows something as rehearsals would need to be taking place with her replacement. Will Christian Boyle also stay beyond her run?
