Lauren Kennedy performs in concert TONIGHT at the Laurie Beechman Theatre!

Hey everyone!

Tomorrow night, Friday the 29th, Lauren Kennedy, the premiere JRB songstress who you may have seen in "Spamalot," "Side Show," "Sunset Boulevard," or very recently in Papermill's "1776" will be performing in concert.

The show takes place at the Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Cafe on W. 42nd Street in NYC. The concert begins at 7pm and is part of the Voices from the Great White Way concert series. There is a $25 cover charge and $15 food/drink minimum. For reservations and information, call 212-695-6909.

She's got a great evening planned, and if you haven't heard her sing some of Jason Robert Brown's music, then you haven't really heard his music. The evening will be music directed by "South Pacfic"'s Fred Lassen. I will also be joining her to play JRB's "Letting You Go" - one of his trunk songs that inspired him to write "The Last 5 Years." It should be a wonderful night, so come on down and see Lauren belt her face off!

The show is is tonight! The set includes numbers from both of Lauren's solo albums as well as music from the new off-Broadway "Vanities," which starts previews at the end of June, an appearance by Jeremy Schonfeld, and some more special surprises along the way. I just sat in on rehearsal today and Lauren and the band are kicking - it should be a great evening! Hope to see you at the Beechman tonight!

Lauren's London concerts last year were the most amazing evenings - wish I could be at this one!

If anyone is able to make it - please do tell if she sings anything from Waiting for the Moon or ESPECIALLY 'Wonderland: Alice's New Musical Adventure'! (her two Wildhorn shows!)
