Lea Michele to step in for Kerry Butler at benefit concert...

Good and bad news...I guess. Kerry Butler will not be able to perform at the this weekend's Broadway Chance Style benefit concert due to the closing annoucement of Xanadu. However, we are pleased to announce that Lea Michele of "Spring Awakening" and "Les Miserable at the Hollywood Bowl" fame will be performing in her place!!!

Lea is amazing, but very different from Kerry. Not that it matters for a concert it's just kind of an odd sounding switch.

I am glad that Kerry Butler will be able to perform in the closing night performance of Xanadu. I do agree that Lea does sound like an odd choice but I have nothing against her. She is a performer that I could take or leave to be honest with you.

It's unfortunate that she has to miss the benefit concert, but I am happy to know that she'll be at the last weekend of "Xanadu". Missing those final performances would be awful for both her and the rest of the cast.
