Lea does amazing Sondheim songs. She's performed the following quite beautifully: Tonight & One Hand, One Heart(with John Barrowman in a concert), Something's Coming (concert), Send In The Clowns (concert), Everybody Says Don't (concert), Another Hundred People (concert), You Could Drive a Person Crazy (Hey Mr. Producer!), Being Alive (concert), songs of The Witch (Into The Woods, Singapore), Children Will Listen (concert), and many others. I'm looking forward to this concert. It's for a charity too. I hear there is a segment where all 3 actors who've played Fantine (Lea, Joan & Rona) on Broadway and US Tour will have a "special" number.

Haven't those same women also played Kim in New York?
I've not heard Lea Salonga sing "Send In The Clowns." Is that available online?
"Everybody Says Don't" was a great number for Salonga in her recent appearance at Café Carlyle. And I just heard her duets with John Barrowman and thought she did a great job singing Maria from "West Side Story." I for one have been wishing that Salonga would sing more legit soprano musical theatre songs. She has a lovely lyric soprano.

Posted: 7/16/11 at 11:22amLea sang "Send In The Clowns" from a duo concert in Manila with David Pomeranz a few months back. I'm sure it's in YouTube. Yes, she has a beautiful lyric soprano voice. Look for "The Prayer" she performed impromptu with Guy Merola after a workshop in Hawaii. That was unrehearsed.

Most of the women listed have, yes. Ali Ewoldt was the revival Cosette.
