I'm not a Bible scholar, Winston, so I'm not sure what you are referring to. Although I'm a very lapsed Catholic, I think that the orthodox Jews believe that a woman should only sing to her husband because the female voice was considered erotic. I'm not positive, but perhaps you could get me a citation. It would be in the Old Testament.

Posted: 10/20/06 at 8:22pmI saw Lea in Londons "Saigon" and New Yorks. She was BRILLIANT in that show. The show is far from perfect but her performance was legendary as far as I'm concerned. Her voice is perfect and it makes complete sense that she would sing at her wedding.
