Lea Salonga as Eliza Dolittle in Manila concert

I like her take on the role though this was a concert. She actually played the part a year after this. I hope she can do this on Broadway.

I saw her in the full production of My Fair Lady and she was quite good in it (except for one unfortunate scene where she had to do a costume change on-stage). I believe it was Cameron Mackintosh's idea that she play the role.

Did Salonga sing all of Eliza's songs in their original keys or were they lowered?

I am not quite sure but I think she sang it in the original key. Her accent was also convincing.

OK. I ask because almost all the Julie Andrews solos in CINDERELLA were lowered in the touring production of CINDERELLA that Salonga headlined.
