To answer a couple of questions:
Playbill.com does have a column devoted to the female stars of Broadway and cabaret, called 'Diva Talk.' It runs every Friday and it's written by Andrew Gans. It's been running for 10 years.
In January 2003, I was asked to write a monthly column called 'The Leading Men,' which is devoted to the male stars of Broadway and cabaret. It usually runs around the first of each month. By June 2005, I figured that I'll have interviewed 100 guys for it, so this concert is a way to celebrate that and to raise some money for a great cause: Broadway Cares.
Tickets are currently on sale at Joe's Pub by calling (212) 539-8778. If you get the recording, you can leave a reservation. Since it was just announced, it usually takes a few days before TeleCharge lists it. Check (212) 239-6200 by week's end.
