Lee Evans returning to The Producers?

Hey all, does anyone think that Lee Evans will return to The Producers? i say he should, he made that part his own, also what other shows do you think he should be in? i say he could pull off being Bobby in A Chorus Line and maybe Micky from blood Borthers, whats your views?

lee evans will not return to the producers, and will probably not do another musical. he likes to try different things and move on to the next. he actually said this himself.

as far as suiting mickey in blood brothers..... no.

actually you are very wrong im afraid to say

you will be able to catch lee evans at the manchester palace theatre next febuary for 6 weeks and then for the rest of the tour of the Producers

this is confirmed by the palace themselves

Not usually a fan of Mr Evans, but was plesently surprised by his turn in the Producers, especially against Nathan Lane. In fact I haven't made a return trip because I've not heard anything about the replacement casts that indicates they were better at making so much of (IMO) the weak material...

it is an absaloute possitve def that he will return to the role just call the manchester palace and ask them(if there allowed to tell you yet)but he will 100 percent be doing the national tour

He is BRILLIANT in that role, im sure if they offered him enough money he would do it. He would be a HUGE draw on tour. I hope its true and that he does the whole tour

well the producers is transferring to the picadilly in january, so your news may be a bit wrong.

dont take my word for it call the manchester palace theatre or the plymoth theatre

THE PRODUCERS WILL TOUR WITH LEE EVANS THE MANCHESTER PALACE AS IVE SAID WILL HOST IT RIGHT AFTER MAMA MIA CLOSES THERE.IT WILL OPEN AT THE BEGINING OF FEBUARY FOR SIX WEEKS.

producers is extending its run at the palace in manchester from 6 weeks to 12 weeks

well matty as i said the producers would close in london and it is

the producers closes in january and plays its first venue on the tour in febuary the manchester palace

Well in all actualness...it says it closes at The Drury Lane.

I have got it very good authority thats its heading to The Piccadilly. ATG do not want to risk bringing a new show in now until late 2007 - so with their excellent relationship with ATG the two have struck a deal to transfer the show. Its recouped very early so its profited well.

well all i know is that weeks ago i was told it would end dec january and kick off its tour in feb and with the recent announcement of its closing in jan it makes sense that the rest of is true.

i would also stake mine and all my freinds and loved ones lives that it is touring as my best freind works for the manchester palace as foh manager and she confirmed it weeks ago that they had producers.They had to decide between producers and guys and dolls and took the producers so there sister theatre the opera house has got guys and dolls
