I saw Legally Blonde for the third time last night. I was surprised at how fresh everyone sounded. Orfeh was on her game and then some. Best part of the night was when Laura was dancing during "Positive" and her wig flew off. They stopped the song and ad-libbed a bit while pinning it back on. Live theatre. Gotta love it.

Any more details on the incident? I'm guessing this happened during or around the "huh!-huh!-huh!" dance sequence...?

Interesting to hear that!I saw the show a week ago Friday and was terribly upset. Loved the show from the recording but the actual evening was AWFUL. Not a single person was not phoning it in! Even the conductor was awful - texting whenever he was not involved. Pretty sad. Hope they have made a switch...becuase this audience member wanted a refund!

You didn't like the show because of the audience and conductor??? If I were conducting I wouldn't be using my phone unless there was an emergency or some sorta issue at the time where people would need to message me, so, maybe he had an emergency?

I didn't see her say anything about the audience but about the performers phoning it in.

Not just because of the conductor - though it was rather distracting. The entire cast was just 'not there.' There was an actor talking to another during a freeze section, another girl dropped her jump rope during whipped into shape and just stared at the audience for awhile, like "Ah, well!" Those are just a few examples for what the entire night was like! Not too fun!

I thought overall the show is still in great shape. Laura is clearly very comfortable now and you can tell she's having fun. Orfeh still is a HUGE highlight of the show and her vocals have only gotten better. This was my first time seeing Haven as Margot and I liked her interpretation.
