I searched some blog indexes to get an idea about what the public here in SF is saying about Legally Blonde in previews and here is what I found, good and bad...
"...Then we saw Legally Blonde the musical. Yeah, it sounds as crazy as the scarf selling tripper. But damn it was pretty damn funny. I don't remember lauging quite that much in a while. Better than the movie? Yep. Seeing as the movie was pretty mediocre (don't tell Melissa). Theatre people have got talent. Screw Regis Philbin and his show. Rappin' Granny.....HA!..."

"...So yes, Legally Blonde is a fantastic show. In fact, so much so that I wish I would have been here sooner and had more chances to see it. I'm excited to see it again tomorrow night. In fact, there are many things I am excited to do tomorrow..."

"...the show is about what I expected. It's uneven right now, though it has potential. It has a few fall-out-of-your-seat funny moments, especially near the end. I've definitely seen far worse shows in the London west end. (I don't know what possessed me to see Fame, but I hope they find a cure for it someday.) At one point the chihuahua got uppity in the middle of a number and wouldn't stop barking. Priceless!..."

"...It was the CUTEST THING EVER!!!! Super cute and peppy and fun and amazing. Not the deepest musical ever, and those who dislike super pop-ified musicals won't care for it, but I loved it. As did my mom. And my sister. And her friend. And my DAD! (Gasp! Shock!)..."

"...it was fun, it was funny, it was entertaining. I had a good time, and Laura Bell Bundy is a great Elle Woods. But the show is far from perfect. Being a preview, I wasn't surprised that there was a malfunction. Apparently, one of the curtains serving as a backdrop didn't lift when it was supposed to a couple minutes into the opening, and I guess it got stuck. They had to stop the show for about 5-7 minutes as things were ironed out and it was flawless from then on (or at least, there wasn't anything I could see was wrong)..."

"..Our spy Dogs had a rollicking good time at the show, with especially high marks going to director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell’s big numbers, Laura Bell Bundy’s unflagging energy and charm and a couple of razzle-dazzle songs. Reminder: this is not a review, but the spies did have a three-word summation: MAJOR CROWD PLEASER..."

"...IT WAS AWESOME. Not kidding; it was really, really great. Not high art, by any means, but goofy, and silly and really fun. Looked the most fun show to be in EVER. I highly recommend it, though you can only see it if you live in the Bay Area or you want to see it on Broadway..."

"...So basically it way 2 hours of laughter and cheering love that show if you have a chance check it out!!!..."

"...It was frickin' AWESOME. There are some awesome awesome awesome lines, such as one of the Delta Nus looking out at the audience and hissing, "Muffy!" and another point where Elle stops dancing, holds her boobs and yells, "Junk shaking isn't working!"..."

A word of advice legallyblondfan, you're 'enthusiasm' comes across as desperate and shill like and you're doing your latest obsession a huge disservice by making it seem (to those who haven't seen it yet), like it needs all the help it can get. And FYI, no one in their right mind cares what a bunch of livejournal posters have to say about anything, let alone the quality or lackthereof of a Broadway musical. If that ever mattered, BKLYN and the Wedding Singer would have run for years! Give it a rest, at least for a few days, please?
Thanks for the advice foster but I'm good. If you don't like my threads then don't read them, it's really simple. I'm flattered by your obsession with my posts but my goal here is to stimulate constructive discussion about this new show not to engage in a pissing match. I think that the opinions of people who don't frequent these boards are fun, interesting and relevant. Reading these reminded me of good and bad things I forgot about the show and I wanted to share them with anyone else who was interested. I understand you aren't, maybe next time? :)
