I was just wondering why and when they were changed to black and white. Or was it just a one time thing? I saw the show at the beginning of June and the playbill was black and white. So are they still like that?
its a money saving measure many shows do eventually.
I went in May and it was black and white. I'm going back on Friday so I'll find out then.
Shows change their Playbills to black and white to save cost. It is usually the first thing a production does when they need to conserve funds. I am not sure when Legally Blonde started doing this.
I have a black/white cover one from January...I believe that's when they changed either after the strike or in January.

I just bought one off ebay for around $8.00 including shipping.

That's kind of steep for a Legally Blonde playbill. Was it at least signed?
No, but it was an opening night one.
Yeah, mine from July 2007 is in black and white.
OMG that sucks.
Was that to me, SgtDonut? I was just saying that mine was in black and white.
