I remember there were a couple of threads about the LB rush now only taking student IDs with some sort of date on them.

I wanted to know if this is now the case. More specifically, if anyone has been able to get rush tickets recently with an ID that doesnt have a date on it.

Hmm...I'm curious about this too. My ID doesn't have a date on it, but that is not my fault, and students shouldn't be singled out because of that.

I spoke to a couple of people about it and they said that people were protesting it (people involved with the show), but someone should go ask the box office.

I student rushed the show on Thursday. I gave her my ID which does have a date on it but I did ask if it needed to be an updated ID for my friend who wants to try to rush soon and she said that it must be updated. My sister is in high school but is taking a course at a college on the weekends and she asked if she can use her college ID and they wouldnt let her use that one either because it said HS student on it. It seems like they are pretty strict but I have to say I got there at 8:15ish thinking there was going to be people there and we were the only ones! It was just me and my sister and then another kid came at like 9:45. Awsome seats though, I never rushed a show or was ever that close to the stage. You can really see everything! haha Good luck :)

You'd think they wouldn't be too strict considering their crummy ticket sales. Perhaps they should do something like Xanadu, and require you to show some form of ID with your birthday on it (maximum age of 25 perhaps) and your student ID.

My friend and I rushed last Wednesday for the evening show. My friend's student ID does NOT have a sticker (her school does not use stickers) and the box office never questioned it...just sold us the tickets!

FYI...we got to the box office around 10:15am and got front row center seats.
