Legally Blonde Rush - Valid Student ID

So, my friends rush shows all the time and this morning, they rushed Blonde.

THey all have student IDs, but many of them don't have dates on them, which is common nowadays. I am a college student at a state university and mine doesn't have a date on them.

Anyway, as a first, the woman at Blonde almost didn't sell them the tickets because she called their IDs invalid because they didn't have dates on them! Does that happen a lot? Isn't it kind of unfair?

It's STUDENT rush and you can't help it if t he college you attend doesn't put dates on their ID...

Regardless, be forewarned. You might wait on the LB rush line only to find out your ID isn't valid....

I rushed back in August with a friend, we both go to different colleges and both of our IDs dont have dates on them - and we didnt have any trouble. Unless this is something new they're implementing.

That happened to me during the summer, I was trying to buy a student ticket and the lady didn't beleive me that it was valid. I ened up pulling out my liscence to prove that I was HS aged...

hey, so I was one of the people whos ID was questioned, I rush almost every weekend and have never had it looked at twice before this am. It was a different woman in the boxoffice then usual but still, be warned.

just an FYI..one does not have to be HS or college "aged" to be a student and have a valid student ID.

But many student rush policies cap it at 30 yrs old even if you are student over that age. It is an unwritten/unpublicized rule for certain shows.

Yes, I went to Xanadu to see if they did a student rush, and they said it had to be an Undergraduate I.D. I guess that means us Graduate Students are not students....
