LB did not re-coup in New York and would unlikely to do well in London

Why unlikely in London? The audiences and taste in musicals are quite different from Broadway. I'm not saying it's better or worse, but there's really no consistency in the hits and flops as they cross the pond in either direction.

LB may not have been a financial hit on Broadway, and the film may not be the *best* known film over here, but if there's one thing West End audiences love, it is a fun, frothy musical they can take their hen parties to. I feel ashamed, and I'm sorry, but I reckon it'll do at least a little better over here. :/
