Despite some parts being a little rocker (which I think can be fixed with more practice) I can't help but think she would be the perfect Elphaba for the movie, am I the only one? Out of everyone currently on Broadway there's just something about her that screams Elphie.

You know what I would love if she did it. And I would hope that they didn't take the rock out of her voice. I think it would be amazing for the songs and really show Elphaba's angst!! And the optional high notes that she'd do would be legendary!

I can't really ever see this happening, but she would indeed be beyond sensational.

I agree. I believe Lena’s voice can adapt to anything. But I’ll never understand the casting for film musicals. I get that some stage performers may not translate to film. But they have to be better than a Pierce Brosnan or a Gerard Butler.
