EDIT: Seems I missed the other post below me, feel free to ignore/delete this thread.
I was browsing ew.com today, and buried in the
*******GREY'S ANATOMY SPOILER*********
story about T.R. Knight officially being let go from Grey's, it mentions that he's in talks to star in a Lend Me a Tenor revival in early 2010. Aparently he participated in a reading with Alfred Molina, Tony Shalhoub, and Marian Seldes. Has anybody heard anything else about this? Anybody have any thoughts on the casting? (I don't know anything about the show, and have never watched Grey's Anatomy, so I have no idea if this sounds good or not).
Story about Knight, Tenor info is in the third to last paragraph.

First of all thank you so very much for posting a spoiler warning. A lot of people do not. :)
I embarrassingly can't read this thread, as I'm not caught up on Grey's Anatomy and I actually plan to watch them. BUT I would absolutely love a revival of Lend Me A Tenor. It is one of my favorite plays for very personal reasons.
When I was in high school we put on a production of Tenor and I was cast as Saunders. We rehearsed, blocked, built sets, etc. And then literally three weeks before we were to go on we were told by the administration (who had had the script for approval since the summer) that the play was far too risque to put on. I went to a predominantly Mormon high school (thus the username) where we weren't even allowed to stage Romeo and Juliet because it invokes ideas of murder, statutory rape, and suicide. So in the short time we had left we picked another play, devoted every hour we had, and staged that instead. Still would have absolutely LOVED to do Lend Me A Tenor. And would adore seeing a professional production of it.
