Since this is now sort of a thread for "I'm going on XYZday!", I'm curious--

Is anyone planning on trying SRO within the first week or so? I know many on the board (myself included) are counting on SRO for a ticket, and a lot of us would like to know how reasonable a hope that is. If anyone is trying SRO in the near future, a report on availability (including how early to get there, how many spots, how crowded the box office was) would be greatly appreciated.

"Poorly reviewed"?????

The ACL revival received no negative reviews and mostly got quite positive reviews, along with a few "mixed-to-positive" reviews, as well:

Margo, what is your gut telling you? Will LES MIS run for 6 months, or do you think that it was arrived for good?

Wife and I are going to the first preview Tuesday night. Can't wait - it will be our 20th time seeing it.

I was walking by the theatre yesterday and saw something strange- right next to the box office was a little plastic sign saying "Preview October 22 Open November 9." I had never heard Oct 22... And then outside the theatre there is a huge sign saying "Previews October 24." But the little sign in the theatre is like a permament sign attached to the wall. I was slightly confused...

I had tickets for the first preview when it was... Sunday? I think... anyhow it did get moved at some point to the 24th, I guess they just didn't change the little sign.

I think they're doing SRO after it opens, but I'm not sure about before it opens.

Now what would you say if today I started over? Without a thing but this taped together four leaf clover And I'll pretend like everything is already alright And I'll run toward the sun till the castle's out of sight

It truly is one day more until the first preview. Glad to hear that there are people here going tomorrow night, and I am looking forward to the reviews.

Haven't heard that one before...where did you hear this from? I figured it was normal for popular shows offering SRO to start it with the previews (ACL being a recent example).
