hey does anybody know anything about this. Because my chours was gonna go see Les Mis this year and i really want to. Does anybody know the dates it ends or if it all ready has?? thanks

Les Mis closed on Broadway 2 1/2 years ago. The touring production is still up and running, though. :)

I do to know what Les Mis is it is one if my favorite mussicals and i have the soundtrack. I was simply wondering if anybody knew if it was closing on broadway or still on or whatever. Because my chours is going to go see it.

I don't know where were seeing it but last year we saw Wicked in Toronto and yes thank you that does help

What is a Chours?

It closed on Broadway over two years ago, hon. And I would assume you have the Cast Recording unless it's the soundtrack to the movie, which is something else entirely.

okay sorry about the "soundtrack" thing but why does that offend people so much and yes we are going to see it just mabye not on broadway.

Okay, good. Now, you've explained the "Seeing it on tour" thing.

The reason why we jump on people for it because there's a HUGE difference between the two.

A cast recording is where...the cast...records the musical numbers...a soundtrack is for a movie/T.V. show.

Well, soundtracks are for movies, and cast recordings are for shows, and we like it too be specified. Honestly, elphie, i have no idea, but that's what I'm guessong.

Because a Cast Recording is for a stage musical, a soundtrack is for a film. For example, the music for the original stage version of RENT is the OBCR, the new double CD for the movie is a soundtrack. Though they are similar, they are not the same.

jerseygirl2 i love your signature thing its funny. there's this kid in my class who honest to god is like in love with bush. he drives everyone crazy we all hate him. he even started thins thing called the young republicans society. and were all 15 we can't even vote and he goes physo if you don't agree with him i'll show him this just for fun.

please specify weather you are talking about canada or not... but les miz in toronto is colsing next week i thinkk.... im not that sure but it is definatlly in a few days or so.if thathelps you at all
