Quick question:
I'm booking a ticket for the Boston Les Mis. I can choose between Limited View extreme left or LV extreme right (the seats are equivalent in terms of row and price.). Any quick insight from those who have seen this production as to whether I should get the extreme left or right seats? Thanks!

P.S. I've never seen the show before, so please NO SPOILERS. (I know, I know, I'm extremely late to the party, but this is one show I've tried not to listen to or learn anything about plot-wise until I could see a great production!).

I don't have an answer regarding your seating dilemma, BUT I have to say, I don't think avoiding spoilers is advisable in this particular case. Les Miz is one of those shows I would recommend at least reading a brief synopses of beforehand. Otherwise, you're liable to be extremely confused.

Thanks, Mike.

I read the book in High School French class, so I know the basic story, characters, and basic plot. And of course, I know all the major songs that have now become standard, so I think I'll be okay. :) I appreciate the input, though!

I saw it once with extreme right limited view. I would recommend this (sitting on the right, not being able to see the back-right of the stage) over the opposite. There are a few ensemble pieces that have a spotlight lyric or two you will miss there, but should you sit on the left, I can think of one (two?) pretty key scenes you may be in danger of missing out on.

No further information due to your request not for spoilers, but the scenes occurring toward the left include some of my favorite cast members. I cannot be "certain" your view of these pieces would be obstructed, as I have not sat on the far left myself, but you do not miss too terribly much on the far right.

Enjoy yourself, either way! It is quite a magnificent piece.

Let me know how those seats are. I have the same for next week. I saw Wicked at the Opera House in the "Limited View" seats and didn't really miss anything. i am wondering if these are the same seats.
