Hey guys, Am planning to catch Les Mis next Wednesday night and wondered if anyone had any suggestions as to where to get cheap tickets. Tkts seem to only be doing 25% off recently unfortunately. Have checked broadwaybox and whatsonstage, but best so far seems to be lastminute.com with dress circle for £29.50 or stalls for £35. Any suggestions as to where else I can try before I go for those? Muchos gracias as always :)
With regards to TKTS: when you say "recently", do you mean "this week", or does it go back before as well? 'Cos if it's this week, bear in mind it's half term and you can get more money from holidaying families during half term, and it may go to 50% off next week when half term is over.
Just a thought, no guarantee. You seem to have covered all my discount ticket bases anyway. :)
It never hurts to swing by the box office and see if they have any of the restricted view front row seats available for £25. You'll be craning your neck, but a couple friends are die hard front row-ers.
And on that note, does anybody know what time the matinee usually ends on Saturday? I'm supposed to be meeting up with a friend who's stagedooring.
It varies with Les Mis tickets at TKTS. Got tickets with 50% discount as at beginning of October, but sometimes you just get a 25% discount, usually depends on how busy the show is as I was told.
Yeah, it's either been 25% or not at all for a while Even Mondays and such where I wouldn't expect it to be busy. Oh well, I suppose it's a good sign for the show that it's not needing to discount much :) Friends were anxious to get it booked, so we've gone with lastminute's offer. Yay, my tenth time!
tbh Clark..id rather sit through a rubbish BK show 200 times and hate it even more..than for him to ruin a perfectly good show and hate something i loved. :P
Rofl! The most depressing thing is that I still wouldn't be able to stop myself from going!
And yes, I am slightly hardcore on Les Mis to say the least. Was my first musical, and first piece of theatre in general that wasn't panto. So it's kinda to blame for ...well, the last ten years of my life really! I even used to do my homework every single weekday with the concert video in the background! (A bad day was "Mum I got all the way up to Do You Hear the People Sing and that was just maths!". I do always find new things to look at, even if I suddenly twig I've been watching the random things the ensemble do and missed A Little Fall of Rain in its entirety. Drew seems to be doing some things a little differently as well, which is why I was keen to see it before he leaves. Am going with a newbie this time, so it will be nice to see how he sees it!
