OK, I recently a 30 second montage of various Les Mis shows throughout the year. It was on the St. Paul Ordway theater website (ordway.org). One of the clips showed Marius bending down to kiss the deceased Eponine after "A Little Fall of Rain."
So my question is this: What Marius did this change in "A Little Fall of Rain?" I'm curious because I have never heard of this reversal with Marius kissing Eponine.
Peter Lockyer is in all the commercials since those were filmed at the time they added the kiss.
But not all Marii do it. Most do, but it also depends on the Eponine.
Some of them get really into it. They make it passionate, which is kind of off-putting.
HAHAHA, Lizzie. Marii.
I like when they do a nice little kiss on the forehead.
Peter is my favorite Marius. I think...

Yikes, I didn't think your standards would be that low!

I remember I enjoyed him a lot.
Yeah, you know if he had just bound her wounds with bandages instead of love and called for medical help instead of singing a duet, she would have lived!

I think how the kiss happens does very. Both times I have seen the show (both 3nt), I believe it was done by the book, or close to the book, with Marius kissing Eponine on the forehead after she dies.
Ooh, I saw it at the Ordway as well! I loved Melissa Lyons as Eponine.

I think a little variation is good from time to time, i've seen Les Mis 5 times in the west end and apart from the change of cast they've been carbon copies of the original, its nice to see small variations, it keeps its fresh!
