Les Miserables National Tour

Here is finally some proof about the upcoming national tour!

Also, Detroit has it listed on the subscription page on the site. However, no dates are listed either, and it's the last show in the line up.

This must be the continuation of the U.K. (and Paris) tour that extends through this summer (into September) and then moves to the U.S. in the fall. It's scheduled for the Paper Mill Playhouse Nov. 19 to Dec. 19, 2010.

The U.K. tour production, I guess, originated with the Theater of the Stars production that played Wolf Trap (Vienna,VA) and the Fox (Atlanta) in September 2008. That production had the back-wall (moving) projections of Victor Hugo paintings (drawings?). There were tech rehearsals and two preview performances at Ike Hall (West Point, NY). [The projections worked great, except at the outdoor daytime shows.]

p.s. In 2008, the term used was re-envisioning; the U.K. tour is described as a re-imagining.
