Sorry Phantom. I don't buy that argument. As I said before the score is the same. The critics in both NYC and SF HATED it so whatever changes were made for NY did not matter. The majority word of mouth was bad in both cities. In SF, many tickets were sold yet when I saw it on a Friday night, there were a lot of no shows. In NYC, they never did as well financially as they did in SF and it kept getting worse every week.

As I have also said before. I am glad you liked it if it gave you some enjoyment. I don't agree and I felt anything but enjoyment when I saw it.

If the CD is ever released, you can listen to it over and over. I liked shows others hated so I know how you feel.

If you watch Drew's every move onstage, he's a very seductive Armand.

Not to mention, he looks great in those hats!

Yay, glad you had fun at the show. I will miss it so much. I feel honored that I got to see it more than once when I know so many people who had tickets for the summer!

Oh believe me, I watching EVERYthing when I saw him onstage. He's got a magnetic presence that's for sure.


I can't wait to see what gig he does next. I hope I'll get to see it. *fingers crossed*

What will I do without "Lestat"?

I'm sure there must be some more bad world premieres in store for those of us in San Francisco. We've already had "The Mambo Kings", "Lennon", and of course, "Lestat".

I am so sad to see this show go. I just watched the video blog on Broadway.com and I have to say it had me in tears. Just to see how happy the cast was and how excited and energetic they all were.

Phantom2: Yes. Drew is a very seductive Armand. I didn't know who to watch during the show... Hugh or Drew. They were both amazing.
