"They cannnot have sex - whatever is in between their legs doesn't work -"
Is this really true? I need to know before the weekend of the 12th.
This thread itself is no longer ridiculous as it has provided for some pretty interesting posts! Wow, EAD!

Okay...at least Brantley notices the homophobia of this show.

i read lestat and found it to be the sexiest most homoerotic book i have ever read in my life, and i read the queer as folk books. I should also mention that afetr Lestat the books become more and more "gay" including detailed sex scenes. Besides Anne Rice is a proud parent of a proud homosexual, she is one of the last autors I would peg as writing homophobic material.

Having two men on stage doesn't make something not homophobic.
In fact, have you seen any of the videos some of these gay-be-gone organizations put out?! They've got men kissing in them, but they point out how dreadful their lives are in the end.
Right now, at this point in history, gay bodies in art need to be protected from being staged as commercialized angst and nothing more than illrequited passionate lust. How about having someone be okay with being gay, and having a relationship be the footing for "making it through" life, instead of the sole reason you don't make it through happily.
