The other day I was thinking wouldn't it be cool if they made a cd with dance remixes of Broadway songs. I think there are some fun songs that would be great club hits if they were mixed with a dance beat. Listening to Zanna, Don't! and hearing the Blow Winds song made me think of this.
Maybe I'm a dork, but tell me what you think.

They did it with an Aida song..."Easy As Life."
There is a CD available called "Broadway Workout" and it has 2 disks with classics like "Oklahoma" and "Anything Goes" in techno form. It's really funny when you listen to it.

In other hand, there is a band called "me first and the gimme gimmes" which has a cd called "are a drag", with punk versions of popular musicals. the tracklist is the following:

i bought a tape from goodwill where they took a few songs from J&H and remixed them for the radio. It was awful.
