The other day I was thinking wouldn't it be cool if they made a cd with dance remixes of Broadway songs. I think there are some fun songs that would be great club hits if they were mixed with a dance beat. Listening to Zanna, Don't! and hearing the Blow Winds song made me think of this.

Maybe I'm a dork, but tell me what you think.

There is a CD available called "Broadway Workout" and it has 2 disks with classics like "Oklahoma" and "Anything Goes" in techno form. It's really funny when you listen to it.

And let us not forget the dance version of DON'T CRY FOR ME, ARGENTINA.

In other hand, there is a band called "me first and the gimme gimmes" which has a cd called "are a drag", with punk versions of popular musicals. the tracklist is the following:
1. Over the Rainbow
2. Don't Cry for Me Agentina
3. Science Fiction/Double Feature
4. Summertime
5. Favorite Things
6. Rainbow Connection
7. Phantom of the Opera Song
8. I Sing the Body Electric
9. It's Raining on Prom Night
10. Tomorrow
11. What I Did for Love
12. Stepping Out

It's very funny, and I laugh a lot with this cd!
