Hey all -
I have front row seats to ADD1NG MACH1N3 on the 22nd.
TOTALLY STOKED - Without a shadow of doubt!
I'm wondering if 'the family' could shed some light...
Does the kid buy the CD via PS Classics (representin')
... or ...
Does the kid buy the CD at the Minetta Lane upon seeing it?
What's cheaper? Not that money's an issue, just wonderin'.
For those who have seen the show, what's ONE WORD you would use to describe 'the ADD1NG MACH1N3 experience'. Surely, it's "something wonderful" - I'm anxious to see what adjectives you can work-in to get me even more excited!
Any and all insight appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Best,
- Mike

I'm not bad-mouthing the show in any way, shape, or form, since I have not seen it yet. Buuuut...
I've heard from friends who have seen it that, while it's one of the best musicals of the year, it's not a score that you're gonna want to listen to over and over.
Wait 'til you see it to buy the album.

How much does it go for at the theatre?
It's probably $20 or $25 at the theatre.
If money is no issue buy it at the theater.
One adjective to describe the show: complex
The BEST MUSICAL - Off-Broadway!
Someone provided a very insightful information about SHRDLU and the other characters-very interesting. I would suggest you read it, so you will have a better understanding of the piece and its also an expressionist play.

The score is VERY different, but really cool. I'd consider a lot of it to be underscoring. It's not a typical musical by any means, but I enjoyed listening to it without having the visual.
