Absolutely adored this play when I saw it at LCT. One of my favorite plays of the last few years. So glad the video is finally being released online!
On the surface, it's may not seem very different from the many other "issue plays" or "topic vehicles" from the past decade or so, but it's really beautifully written, with a lot of tenderness and depth to it. And the performances from Karen Pitman and Namir Smallwood are heartbreaking.
Watched it this evening. Powerful. Glad I caught it.
