Saw Lillias tonight at the Ravinia Fest near Chicago--she was in GREAT voice.

In a show dedicated to the works of Cy (both Broadway and not), she sang two songs from both LIKE JAZZ/IN THE POCKET and PAMELA'S FIRST MUSICAL. Does anyone know the Broadway prospects for either of these shows? The songs she sang were wonderful. "Two Hands" and "Before the Lights Go Out" from LIKE JAZZ and "Make Believe" and a song about doing anything you want ("you can make an omlette/or make history") from PAMELA'S. Just great materail.

Anyone know if "Make Believe" has ever been recorded? (which may or may not be the actual title, as with all of the songs I mentioned).

All in all, simply a magical evening, with a sterling rendition of "Oldest Profession."

Someone needs to get this woman back on Broadway. Motormouth Mabel perhaps? If not a new show....
