Lincoln Center Theater's 'King Lear'

Does anyone know when tickets for Lincoln Center Theater's production of 'King Lear' starring Chris Plummer wil go on sale?

Member tickets for Lear are on sale now and just about every member wants to see this. The line Monday the 1st was around the lobby and up the stairs.

Not bad for a playwright who is about 439 years old--two hits in one season. Who does he think he is, Neil Simon?

Tix for the general public go on sale the 14th I think. Phone sales are through Tele-charge.

They will only be playing 5 performances a week for a total of 49 in all. Tuesday and Friday look to be always dark. They will not play two shows on any day. The schedule is irregular. Sometimes there will be a matinee slated for Saturday and no Saturday evening for instance.

When you go, plan in advance with several dates. The members (myself included) were buying Saturdays and Sundays very heavily.

It looks like it will be great.
