With Clay Aiken in Spamalot, all of Broadway is singing a collective "There! Right! There!" -Me-
"Not Barker, Todd is the only person I've ever known who could imitate Katherine Hepburn...in print." -nmartin-

Lion King
the story is, well, the movie
Like all the other shows whose stories are like the movies, books or plays on which they are based. In other words, virtually all shows.
Whorehouse has a couple of good songs that I really enjoy, but the opening number of Lion King alone blows away Whorehouse out of the water. I find it disturbing so many people can't look past the name of the production company.

Posted: 3/14/08 at 11:09amI dunno, I honestly enjoy Whorehouse more than I do Lion King...but I hate the film, so it's the spectacle of the stage version that I like...and I didn't want to pick spectacle over enjoyment.

The Lion King wins, 38-22.
(And again with the crammed-together titles. Sheesh.)
