I tried to rush The lion king last night, since it is listed on playbill.com and they told me they never has a student rush policy. I told them it is listed on playbill, and they were very skeptical about it, very rude to say the least.I was kinda dissapointed, cause even though, i've seen the show before, it was a long time ago, and I was looking forward to see it again. Anyway, I ended up seeing Billy Elliot and it was wonderful. Tommy Batchelor was on as Billy and he just blew me away. It was one hell of a show.
I think you should send an email to Playbill and tell them that their information is inaccurate. If they tell you it came from the producers, then you should email the producers and inform them that the box office staff is not honoring their policy.
i never rely on playbill.com for information. they never update the 'who's who' cast section for their shows, most of their ticket policies are out of date and/or incorrect...
they need better upkeep of their website, plain and simple. it's very misleading, and i know a few other people who have been disappointed by playbill.com's misinformation...
