Some do, some don't. As for the critics, it has not opened yet, but there are a lot of threads about it. Do you know how to use the search feature here?

yeah, considering it only got what... 2 or three preview performances in before the strike started we pretty much have not heard anything since Denver

From what people have posted thus far, the cast, especially Sierra Boggess (Ariel), Sherie René Scott (Ursula), and Tituss Burgess (Sebastian) are all getting universal praise, as well as the lighting for the show. Also, the score seems to be enjoyable to most. The set design and costumes are where people are having different thoughts. Some like these aspects of the show while others despise them. I have not seen the show thus I can not give my opinion but I am looking forward to seeing the show (Jan. 9th) because of the amazing cast and memorable songs. :)

Loriley, I've generally been hearing mixed things about the Little Mermaid. There are some reviews on this board if you search and also if you Google, you might be able to access reviews from other websites.
